The Spirit of Anne Frank Awards was held on June 12, 2014. I was honored to take part in such a beautiful and moving evening and to be a guest of Steve Farber, The Anne Frank Center's Board Treasurer.
This year’s gala awarded scholarships to five high school seniors who have demonstrated exceptional social and humanitarian responsibilities. I have no doubt that these young people will continue to champion their social causes in college and adulthood.
In addition to the student awards, the gala recognized thirty-six hidden children of the Holocaust, some of whom now serve on the Board of Directors for the Anne Frank Center. They shared compelling stories of survival and moving from place to place in order to stay safe.
NE Kelly & Associates, LLC, is proud to be affiliated with The Anne Frank Center and the work that they do to further understanding and humanitarianism throughout the world. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
